Turning on your printer

Time to bring your Ender 3 to life. You will plug in the power cord, double-check the voltage switch, and boot the printer for the first time.
Confirm one more time that the power supply’s voltage switch reads 115 (in North America) before plugging in.

Step-by-step

1

Connect the power cord

Remove the twist tie from the power cord. Line up the shape and plug it into the socket on the side of the power supply unit.
2

Plug into the wall

Plug the other end into a wall outlet. Peel the protective sticker off the LCD screen if you have not already.
3

Flip the switch on

Press the power switch on the side of the power supply. The LCD panel lights up and the printer boots.
The printer powers on, the LCD lights up and shows the Ender 3 home screen with X, Y, and Z coordinates. You have power!
If nothing lights up, check that the wall outlet works, the cord is fully seated, and the voltage switch is set correctly.
