The top rail has exposed aluminum ends that can cut you. The two plastic profile covers snap over them for safety. Quick and important.Find the small bag with two plastic clips labeled “profile cover.” No tools needed.

Identify the caps
Each cap has a smooth side and a side with small pegs. The pegs go into the aluminum rail slots.

Press them on
Line the pegged side up with the exposed aluminum at each end of the top rail and press firmly until it seats. It takes a little force.
Both end caps are pressed firmly onto the top rail ends, and no sharp aluminum is exposed - safe to touch.
