Connecting the power
This is the final assembly step and the easiest one: connecting the power cable. Once this is done, your Adventurer 5M is fully built.Step-by-step

Unpack the power cable
Take the power cable out of its bag and remove the twist tie holding it coiled.

Plug it into the printer
The shaped end of the cable plugs into the power socket on the bottom back of the printer. Push it in snugly.

Leave the switch OFF for now
Next to the socket is the power switch. Make sure it is in the off position - the side marked with a circle (O) means off. The line (I) means on. Do not power on yet.

Do not plug into the wall yet
Keep the other end unplugged from the wall for now. You will apply power in the next section once the filament is loaded.
On the power switch, the symbols follow the international standard: O = off, I = on. Keeping it off until you are ready prevents the printer from booting mid-assembly.
Assembly complete

The touchscreen is mounted upright and clicked into place.
Filament tube connected
The PTFE tube links the extruder head to the filament sensor.
Base plate freed
All four shipping screws are removed and the bed moves freely.
Spool holder mounted
The I-shaped bracket is secured on the back of the printer.
Power connected
The power cable is plugged into the printer, switch off.
Ready for setup
Your machine is built and ready for filament loading and calibration.
Pre-assembly is complete: LCD panel installed, base plate freed, filament tube threaded, spool holder installed, and power connected. You are ready to move on.
